1. DESCRIPTION Background: The TSA TTC Office is requesting information and conducting market research to understand the level of interest from industry, particularly travel industry partners such as airlines and other travel-related companies, in partnering with TSA to increase TSA PreCheck enrollments. Objectives: TSAs primary objective is to expand TSA PreCheck participation by increasing the total number of program members, also known as Known Traveler Number (KTN) holders. The TSA PreCheck program provides significant benefits to both TSA and its members, including enhanced security, improved checkpoint efficiency, and a better passenger experience. TSA currently has approximately 50 million Known Traveler Number holders and believes this number could double with industry support. Depending on the proposed approach, industry partners may collect limited information from interested individuals, such as name, date of birth, and preferred contact information, including email address and/or phone number. Industry partners may also propose other data collection, referral, voucher, payment, or enrollment support concepts for TSAs consideration. Individuals enrolling in TSA PreCheck would still be required to complete an in-person enrollment through one of TSAs three authorized enrollment providers, CLEAR, IDEMIA, or Telos. TSA is interested in learning more about capabilities that would allow industry partners, including airlines and travel industry companies, to market, promote, facilitate, refer, incentivize, or otherwise support TSA PreCheck enrollments. TSA is also interested in understanding how industry partners would measure results, report activity, sup…
