Privacy Policy

Yia | Contract Alerts is operated by Yia, LLC ("we"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We keep it short because we collect little.
What we collect
- What you give us: your email address, company name, business description, industry (NAICS) codes, preferred locations, certifications and keywords.
- Billing: Stripe processes payments. We receive your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, plan, subscription status and billing country. We never receive your full card number.
- Email delivery: our email provider (Resend) records whether each email was delivered, bounced or marked as spam. We don't use open-tracking pixels or click tracking.
- Website: our host (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses and request logs to serve and protect the site. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. If we ever add analytics, we'll update this section first.
How we use it
- To find opportunities that fit you and send your daily email.
- To run billing and your subscription.
- To answer support requests.
- To keep the service secure and working, and to understand overall usage (for example, how many emails we send).
We use AI models (Anthropic's Claude) to summarize public notices and to rate fit. To rate fit, we send your business description along with notice text to Anthropic. Under its commercial terms, Anthropic doesn't train its models on this data. We don't send your email address or billing details to the AI provider.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that help us run Yia | Contract Alerts: Supabase (database), Cloudflare (website hosting), Resend (email), Stripe (payments) and Anthropic (AI processing). Each handles data only to provide its service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
How long we keep it
We keep your profile while you're subscribed, and for 12 months after you cancel, so you can come back easily. Then we delete it or make it anonymous. We keep billing records as long as tax law requires. Email delivery logs are kept for 90 days.
Your choices and rights
- Change your profile anytime with the "Change what you get" link in any email.
- Unsubscribe with one click from any email.
- Ask us at jake@yiafirm.com to see, correct or delete your information. We'll answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under state privacy laws; we honor them.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and providers with strong security programs. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we'll tell you as the law requires.
Children
Yia | Contract Alerts is a business service for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email subscribers before the change takes effect.
