SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: Secured Janitorial Services. Marine Corps Base, Quantico, VA 22134-2134 SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR SECURED JANITORIAL SERVICES AT MARINE CORPS BASE (MCB) QUANTICO, VA. Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Washington/Facilities, Engineering, and Acquisition Division (FEAD) Quantico is seeking Small Business Administration�s eligible certified 8(a) participants capable of performing secured janitorial services for Marine Corps Base Quantico, (MCBQ). THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT, A MARKET RESEARCH TOOL USED TO DETERMINE THE AVAILABILITY AND ADEQUACY OF POTENTIAL CERTIFIED 8(A) SOURCES PRIOR TO DETERMINING THE METHOD OF ACQUISITION AND ISSUANCE OF AN AWARD. THIS SURVEY IS FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. Respondents will not be notified of the evaluation. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. No telephone calls or emails will be accepted requesting a bid package or solicitation. There is no bid package or solicitation. In order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any, that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contact will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. The appropriate NAICS Code is 561720, Janitorial Services, and the corresponding size Standard is $22.0 million. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by FEAD Quantico, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The intent of this notice is to identify potential Offerors for market research purposes. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to identify eligible certified 8(a) participants with the primary NAICS 561720, capacity, experience, and interest in the secured janitorial services for three secured buildings within the area of responsibility of Marine Corps Base Quantico, (MCBQ) VA. The secured janitorial recurring work is summarily described as: Provide all labor, supervision, management, coordination, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide janitorial services in various secured buildings at MCB Quantico. This requirement includes non-recurring work (also known as Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)) wherein task orders for pre-priced contract line items or negotiated labor and materials for services in excess of recurring services are issued.
