The U.S. Embassy in Windhoek hereby provides the following solicitation notice in respect of the issuance of a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for: Janitorial/cleaning services at the U.S. Embassy Office building and General services warehouse in Windhoek, Namibia. The Contractor shall perform janitorial services in all designated spaces including, but not limited to halls, offices, restrooms, work areas, entrance ways, lobbies, storage areas, elevators, and stairways. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The U.S. Government may award the contract, based on the initial offer, without any discussions. The resultant contract will be a fixed priced type of contract for its duration. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference which will be on November 16, 2026 at 09h00AM Namibian time. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
